Canon EOS-1D Battery LP-E4N

The Canon EOS-1D X is the successor of Canon’s flagship cameras EOS-1Ds Mark III and the Canon EOS-1D Mark IV. It was announced on October 18, 2011 and is expected to reach dealers in March 2012.[1]

The Canon EOS-1D X has two DIGIC 5+ image processors for sensor reading and compression, and a separate DIGIC 4 dedicated to automatic exposure.

The Canon EOS-1D X uses a new battery. The battery code is LP-E4N. Designed to be used with the EOS-1D X, the LP-E4N is a high-capacity (2450 mAH) lithium-ion battery pack, offering approximately 10% larger capacity than the LP-E4.

Besides the Canon EOS-1D X can also uses previous LP-E4 battery.
